Everyone was so kind and informative. My optometrist Jacqueline Rohan explained each step of the appointment, and helped put my nerves about my first appointment at ease. I was able to fill my prescription for glasses on the premises which was really convenient! The whole appointment including picking out frames was a little under an hour.If you need a new optometrist or you have put off your first eye exam like I did I would definitely recommend calling Complete Family EyeCare! :)Christina S12:06 02 Jul 21Dr. Lippi is a rare find- a great doctor for every member of the family and who is genuinely concerned with patients' health and *not* just upselling you and your insurance company. If you want an eye doctor that will tell you the truth (has even told me my kid didn't need glasses), Dr. Lippi is the best out there. Dr. Rohan found an underlying condition which needed surgical intervention before it got to a critical point and was able to point me in the right direction for proper care. I also learned a lot about the structure of my eyes, and gained a better understanding of some previous optical conditions. Came across these guys and I’m soooo happy that I did.I made an appointment for my 10 yr old and my 5 yr old for eye exams .Dr.Lippi was outstanding !!! Very relatable and made my children feel super comfortable.Must say I was very nervous because my son had never been to an eye doctor appointment but Dr.Lippi was phenomenal ! He began to have a meltdown but she won him over and was able to complete the full exam. That alone was worth waiting for my glasses. Also they have a better frame selection. Most important though was the service - much more personalized than LC, with clear expertise to boot.Another thing I appreciate (and its totally minor) is that they have mirrors on each station which makes it easier to pick frames (the LC at the mall did NOT have them). Lastly, I wasn't constantly distracted by the aroma of Auntie Annie's pretzel kiosk the whole time (trust me, it's pretty overwhelming).Overall, a much better experience AND lower costs. The entire staff were great, Dr. Biluna went above and beyond with my examination, ensuring that I had the best prescription possible. The level of service was refreshing, I wasn't rushed despite being their last appointment for the day. Details were given attention all around, and my vision is much better for it. Caroline was perfect, she helped me find two different frames that look great on my narrow face, which is not an easy feat! She was also honest and upfront on which lense options I should choose, and her knowledge of how to best utilize the available insurance discounts saved me around $300.I do not often bother to rate businesses, but these ladies have a winning plan. Great selection of frames for everyone, unlike the larger chains. Very friendly and easygoing, knowledgeable in their craft, and they offer discounts that keep the prices affordable.By all means, shop the competition as I did... chances are you'll want what Complete Family EyeCare has!Thanks again, ladies, you were amazing![UPDATE]I have had an unfortunate development regarding my contact lense trial period, I will update accordingly within the next week whether the issue is resolved.[UPDATE 2]Dr. Bilunas was able to address my issue with my contacts not fitting properly. What I didn't know when I initially went in for my exam, was just how much trial and error is required to find an astigmatism correcting lens that works for each individual. Dr. Bilunas allowed me try several pairs during my appointment today, and that made a huge difference! I'm now wearing a pair that seems to be a good compromise of comfort, clarity and stability.I look forward to trying the other trial lenses she sent me home with, so that we have all the data we need to pick the best option.I advise anyone trying astigmatic lenses for the first time to ask exactly how each lens should be fitted, to avoid confusion. This was a great deal of my issue until today. I sat down with Caroline G. with my eyeglass prescription from my current provider and, after much handholding, questions and straight talk on her part, I selected my new frames/glasses. The frames were the first ones Caroline picked out for me (she really has an eye for what works). I went into CFE thinking I'd select a bland semi-rimless frame and regular lenses (not the progressive lenses I really needed) - and left with a really really flattering full frame (appropriate for my prescription strength) and perfectly crafted progressive lenses. I wear my glasses more than my contacts now and get lots of compliments. Arrived on the appointment date, waited approximately twelve minutes, received my routine eye exam, and purchased frames and lenses. The staff was very friendly, answered all my questions in detail, and the lady examining my eyes had minty breath. Five days after placing my order the glasses had arrived. Dr. Lippi is very knowledgeable, friendly and answers all of my questions. Her staff members are happy, helpful, efficient and very customer service oriented. When my daughter first got contact lenses, they patiently spent over an hour with her until she was comfortable putting lenses in and taking them out. The receptionist were so pleasant and professional, Dr. Lippi was so kind and knowledgable, and they had such a great selection of eyewear. What made the experience so great, however, was how family friendly and great with my young children they were. We have three young children who were very apprehensive at first to have their eyes examined. By the time the visit was over they didn't want to leave.
